DESERTT ROZE

Wheee! The first one on lighter colored paper. And a girl character, you may all gasp.

This is Kittika, who has appeared in some past images, and a comic, and in my scraps. She's a female elf from a desert dwelling culture. Not to mention the perfect counter-balance to Terith she's very high-strung and serious.

This one is obviously not as ink heavy as the others. The splatter around her is meant to look like sand blowing in the wind. I drew this to the song "Death Valley Queen" by Flogging Molly. Not so much for the lyrics/song story outside of the fact its about a girl from the desert. More the sound of the song. And Flogging Molly mixes celtic music and instruments with rock, any celtic music tends to inspire Chosen One stuff for me (thats the name of the comic idea Kittika and Terith are from), but I'm a rocker through and through

Her hair was a bit difficult, doing long straight hair is just @__@ argh. But I think it came out great. I'm very proud of her face and expression as well.
